WRCA Championship

The WRCA Finals were held in Amarillo, Texas November 12-16th with several of the best teams in ranch rodeo competing for the top spot. In addition to the rodeo, there was a Heritage Trade Show, WRCA Sr & Jr Cow Horse Show, Ranch Equipment Expo, and entertainment Saturday night by Jake Hooker & The Outsiders.

The World Champion Team was awarded to Barron-Highsmith Cattle Co./Short Ranches

made up of teammates Willie Barron, Matt Strickler, Jake Dykes, Armando Rodriguez, and TJ Hendricks. Reserve World Champion Team went to Rocking P Cattle/S&P Cattle which included Chris Potter, Colton Potter, Carlee Potter, Justin Peterson, Jake Peterson, and Dillon Sherrick. Third Place Team went to Heck Cattle Co. and teammates Cody Heck,

Rylan Ferbrache, Josh Halsell, Jody Padilla, and Braiden Obermier. Fourth Place Team went to Lonesome Pine/C5T which included Bud Higgs, Troy Higgs, Makenzie Higgs, Bo Krueger, Brett Cloud, and Trey Langvardt. And the Fifth-Place Team went to B&W Land and Cattle/Sumner Cattle which included teammates Tanner Davis, Keith Sumner, Doug Hall, Kolby Boos, and Tucker Begley. Top Hand was awarded to Jake Dykes of Barron-Highsmith Cattle Co./Short Ranches. Reserve Top Hand was awarded to Colton Potter of Rocking P Cattle/S&P Cattle. Top Horse went to Hesa Twisted Bet ownded by Lanham Brown of R.A. Brown Ranch. Reserve Top Horse went to Casas Hickory Cat ownded by Cody Kendall of Beachner Bros. Livestock/Mill Creek Ranch. Fan-Favorite was awarded to Ranch Remuda Lonesome Pine/C5T.

The winner of the Ranch Bronc, brought to you by Plains Land Bank, was Tallan Miller of Lochhead Cattle Co. Muleshoe Ranch/Hatchet Ranch took first in the Stray Gathering, brought to you by Capital Farm Credit. Haythorn Land & Cattle Co. J.H. Minor Co. took first in the Team Penning,
