Wind River Rodeo Roundup

The Wind River Rodeo Roundup was held July 28-29th at the Fremont County Fairgrounds Arena in Riverton, Wyoming. Seth Andersen took all-around cowboy an a check for $1,438 by competing in the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took fourth in the tie-down roping with his 9.8 second run for another $800 and third in the team roping with header  Cole Robinson for their 5.7 run for an additional $938. Daxtyn Feild took first in the bareback riding with his77 point ride on Big Wind (Powder River Rodeo) for $940. There was only one qualified ride in the steer wrestling. Brian Snell was the only one to get a clean run with his 9.8 second run to earn $978. Kellan Johnson & Carson Johnson took first in the team roping with their 4.7 second run to take home $1,431 each. Cooper Lane took first in the saddle bronc riding with an 82.5 point ride on Prize Fighter (Powder River Rodeo) for $1,109. In the tie-down roping, Brodey Clemons took first with his 8.6 second run to pocket $1,336. Karson Bradley Berger took first in the barrel racing with her quick 17.31 second run to earn $1,049. Danielle Lowman took first in the breakaway roping with her 1.7 second run to bring home $1,384. Tucker Shoun took first in with the only qualified ride in the bull riding with his 79.5 point ride on No. 86k(Powder River Rodeo) for $5,912. Jay Shaw and J.D. Harrell were the pickup men and Ruger Jennings and Koby Ruff kept the bull riders safe.


All-around Cowboy: Seth Andersen, $1,438, tie-down roping and team roping.


Bareback Riding: 1. Daxtyn Feild, 77 points on Powder River Rodeo's Big Wind, $940; 2. Wyatt Wood, 75, $705; 3. Cooper Bennett, 66, $470; 4. Stetson Bierman, 63, $235.
