The Palouse Empire Rodeo was held September 4-5th at the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds in Colfax, Washington. Ty Owens took first in the bareback riding with his 80 point ride on Juicy Fruit (Aces Wild Pro Rodeo) for $684. Austin Whitehouse took first in the steer wrestling with his 4.2 second run to earn $886. Wyatt Bray & Cashton Weidenbener took first in the team roping with their 4.7 second run to take home $1,145 each. Logan Nunn took first in the saddle bronc riding with his 80 points on Leeroy (Aces Wild Pro Rodeo) for $985. Gator Goodrich took first in the tie-down roping with his 7.3 second run to pocket $1,036. Cadee Williams took first in the barrel racing with her 17.29 second run to earn $958. Britni Carlson and Rylee A George tied for first in the breakaway roping with their 2.0 second run to bring home $1,556 each. Dylan Rice had the only qualified ride in the bull riding with his 81 points on Kung Fu (Aces Wild Pro Rodeo) for $1,906. Aces Wild Pro Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractor Anthony Verdino. Mike Phillips and Caleb McMillan were the pickup men and Travis Traub and Cheyne Anderson were the bullfighters.
