Sanders County Fair & PRCA Rodeo

The Sanders County Fair & PRCA Rodeo was held August 28-30th at the Sanders County Fair Main Arena in Plains, Montana. All-around cowboy went to Haven Meged, who took home a check for $1,630 for entering the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took third in the tie-down roping for his 11.0 run for another $1,630.  Jacob Lees took first in the bareback riding for his 84.5 points on Bob Cat (Powder River Rodeo) for $2,868. Caden Camp took first in the steer wrestling for his 4.0 second run to earn $1,881. Korbin Rice & Cooper Freeman took first in the team roping for their 4.8 second run to net them $2,184 each. Kolby Wanchuk took first in the saddle bronc riding for his strong 86 point ride on Drink Of Choice (Powder River Rodeo) for $3,426. Chantz Webster took first in the tie-down roping for his 10.4 second run to earn $2,205.  Katelyn Scott took first in the barrel racing for her fast 16.94 second run to net her $1,741. There were no qualified rides in the bull riding. Powder River Rodeo was the stock contractor.  Jay Shaw and Clint Humble were the pickup men and Kaleb Barrett and Koby Ruff kept the bull riders safe.
