Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo

The Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo was held October 3-5th at the O.D. Tucker Arena in Rosenberg, Texas. Chet Weitz took all-around cowboy and a check for $2,728 for competing in the tie-down roping and team roping. He also tied for nineth with heeler McCoy Profili for their 5.1 run for another $1,058 and tied for seventh in the tie-down roping with his 8.6 second run for an additional $1,669. Dean Thompson took first in the bareback riding for his big 86 points on Sober Sunday (United Pro Rodeo) for $2,558. Dane Haas took first in the steer wrestling for his 3.6 second run to earn $2,557. Chad Masters & Jace Helton took first in the team roping for their 4.1 seconds run to take home $4,498 each. Brandon Lansford took first in the saddle bronc riding for his 84.5 point ride on No. A13 (Stockyards ProRodeo) for $3,040. Blane Cox took first in the tie-down roping for his 7.5 second run to earn $4,730. Acey Pinkston took first in the barrel racing for her 15.10 second run to net her $4,253. Kirby Rawlinson took first in the breakaway roping for her 2.1 second run to pocket $4,672. Jesse Petri took first in the bull riding for his 86 point ride on Boom Town (Mo Betta Rodeo) for $3,533.


Mo Betta Rodeo, Fettig Pro Rodeo, United Pro Rodeo, Stockyards ProRodeo, Bobby Joe Hill, and New Star Pro Rodeo provided the stock. Justin Wahlberg and Daryl Lamb were the pickup men and Cody Emerson and Connor Kimbrough kept the bull riders safe.
