The Raymond Stampede was held June 30-July 1 at the Victoria Park Arena in Raymond, Alberta. In the bareback riding, Spencer Parker spurred one out for 80 point and first on Golden Smiles (Duane Kesler Championship Rodeo) for $1,657. Jonny Webb took first in the steer wrestling with his 4.9 seconds run to earn $2,859. There was a tie for first in the team roping between Kavis Drake & Denim Ross, Jackson Braithwaite & Dillon Johnson and Grady Quam & Clint Weston, with all three teams stopping the clock at 5.2 seconds to take home $2,190 each. Nicholas Patterson took first in the saddle bronc riding with his big 86.5 point ride on Double D Dolly (Duane Kesler Championship Rodeo) for $2,098. Riley Wakefield took first in the tie-down roping with his 7.7 seconds run to net him $3,124. Julie Plourde took first in the barrel racing with her 15.76 seconds run to take home $3,111. Molly Salmond took first in the breakaway roping for her quick 2.2 seconds run to earn $2,115. Dakota Buttar took first in the bull riding with his huge 87 point ride on Jack The Ripper (Duane Kesler Championship Rodeo) for $1,791.
This year's total payout was $97,578.00. Duane Kesler Championship Rodeo provided the stock. Dustin Gintaut and Darcy McKinney were the pickup men and Josh Haeberle and Ethan Barrows kept the bull riders safe.
