The Gooding Pro Rodeo was held Aug. 20-22 at the Andy James Arena in Gooding, Idaho. All-around cowboy went to Haven Meged, who took home a check for $4,474 by competing in the tie-down roping and team roping. He also placed fourth in the tie-down roping for his 8.6 second run to take home another $4,474. Leighton Berry took first in the bareback riding with an impressive 91 point ride on Game Trail (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $7,332. Eli Lord took first in the steer wrestling with his 3.1 seconds run to earn $4,942. Kaleb Driggers & Junior Nogueira took first in the team roping for their quick 4.1 seconds run to net them $6,038 each. Ben Andersen took first in the saddle bronc riding with an 88 points on Cowboy Fool (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $7,558. Riley Mason Webb took first in the tie-down roping for his 7.5 seconds run to pocket $6,712. Macy Young took first in the breakaway roping with her 2.1 seconds run to net her $7,280. Carlee Otero took first in the barrel racing with her 16.54 seconds run to bring home $7,432. Hudson Bolton took first in the bull riding with a huge 90 points on Howdy Rowdy ( Summit Pro Rodeo) for $7,670.
The total payoff this year was $279,360. Summit Pro Rodeo provided the stock along with Macza Pro Rodeo and Korkow Rodeos. J-2 Brown, Cody Miller, and Bobby Marriott were the pickup men and Nathan Jestes and Dusty Tuckness provided the cowboy protection.
