Pendleton Round-Up

The Daddy of 'Em All, The Pendleton Round-Up, kick off September 10-13th at the Pendleton Round-Up Arena in Pendleton, Oregon. This is a huge one for the cowboys in the dash for The NFR cash and a must win for those on the bubble. One cowboy to leave with his pockets a little bit richer was Dylan Hancock, who took home $19,154 for all-around cowboy for competing in the tie-down roping and team roping.


Jacek Frost took first in the bareback riding for his big 86.5 point ride on Missing Link (Outlawbuckers Rodeo) for $8,443. Sam Petersen took first in the finals with an incredible 88 points on Game Trail (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $1,650. Jacek Frost also took first in the average for 174 points on two head to earn an additional $8,443.


Stetson Jorgensen took first in the first round for his 4.1 second run to earn $5,598. Justin Shaffer took first in the second round for his 4.3 second run to pocket $5,598. Bode Spring took first in the third round for his 4.5 second run to net him $1,247. Stetson Jorgensen took first again in the average for his 17.3 seconds on three head to take home an additional $8,397.


In the first round of the team roping, Cory Kidd V & Will Woodfin took first with their 4.9 second run to net them $7,081 each. There was a tie for first in the second round of the team roping between Derrick Begay & Colter Todd and Erich Rogers & Cory Petska, with both teams stopping the clock at 4.7 second to take home $6,619 each. Brayden Schmidt & Jaydon Warner took first in the finals with their 6.1 second run for $1,685 each as well as first in the average for 19.1 seconds on three head to take home an additional $10,622 each.


Coleman Shallbetter took first in the first round of the saddle bronc riding with a impressive 88.5 point ride on Sly Devil (Wayne Vold Rodeo) for $8,147. Q Taylor took first in the finals with his jaw dropping 91 point ride on Cat Walk (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $1,650 and first in the average for 178.5 points on two head to take home another $8,147.


Kyle Lucas took first in the first round of the tie-down roping with his 8.8 second run to earn $5,990. There was a tie for first in the second round between Chisum Allen and Paden Bray, with both ropers stopping the clock at 9.9 seconds to take home $5,600 each. Dylan Hancock took first in the finals with his quick 8.6 second run to earn another $1,479 in additional to taking all-around cowboy along with first in the average for 30.4 seconds on three head to take home an additional $8,985.


Tayla Moeykens took first in the first round of the barrel racing with her 28.45 second run to net her $7,065. Jamie Olsen took first in the finals for her 28.50 second run to pocket $2,990. First in the average went to Tayla Moeykens for 57.05 seconds on two head to take home $7,065.


Slade Wood took first in the first round of the steer roping for his 10.8 second run to earn $5,672. There was a tie for first in the second round between Jake Clay and Cole Patterson, with both cowboys clocking 11.6 second run to net him $5,302. Cole Patterson took first in the finals for his 10.7 second run to earn another $1,291 as well as first in the average for 36.4 seconds on three head to take home an additional $8,507.


Britni Carlson took first in the first round of the breakaway roping for her quick 2.4 second run to earn $6,344. Bailey Patterson took first in the finals for her 3.5 second run to net her $2,434 and first in the average for 6.2 seconds on two head to take home an additional $9,516.


Jordan Spears dominated in the bull riding taking first in the first round with an 88 point ride on Diamond Daze (Sankey Pro Rodeo & Phenom Genetics) for $8,034, first in the finals with his 86.5 points on Silver Bullet (Big Rafter Rodeo) for $2,700, and first in the average for 174.5 points on two head to take home an additional $8,034.


Sankey Pro Rodeo & Phenom Genetics provided the stock along with sub-contractors Wayne Vold Rodeo, Outlawbuckers Rodeo, Four Star Rodeo, Caleb McMillan, Brent Palmer, Brookman Rodeo, Summit Pro Rodeo, Calgary Stampede, Big Rafter Rodeo, and Macza Pro Rodeo. Clint Humble, Matt Twitchell, Bobby Marriott, J-2 Brown, Tyler Kraft, and Mitch Coleman were the pickup men and Dusty Tuckness, Nathan Jestes, and Beau Schueth provided the cowboy protection.
