PBR went where no bull rider has boldly gone before- to outer space. Well, sorta. PBR Space Cowboys, presented by the U.S. Space Force, was a unique outer space theme event held on Saturday, June 20 at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In addition to the PBR bull riding, the event featured military tributes, a concert, a drone show, and an Air Force flyover in honor of the United States 250th anniversary. Each bulls was also given ceremonial nicknames, reflective of military terms or phrases (below we have listed them by their official names).

The bull riders were divided into three space themed teams, Combat Forces, Space Systems, and STARCOM that competed in two rounds. STARCOM struck first with Bruno Carvalho's 86.10 point ride on Koopatroopa (Farris Cattle/Big Schott Rodeo) followed by big 88 point ride by Kade Madsen on TBR's Buffalo Joe (TBR/JX Bucking Bulls). Combat Forces responded with an 88.15 point ride by Marco Rizzo on Rank Hank (Blake Sharp/Hanks) and Space Systems with an 86.80 point ride by Trace Redd on Wild Country (Farris Cattle/Big Schott Rodeo). Combat Forces struck again with another huge 89.30 point ride by Elizmar Jeremias on High Road (Blake Sharp/Hanks). Space System fired back with an 85.20 point ride courtesy of Felipe Furlan aboard Sergeant Stubby (Platinum/Big Schott Rodeo/6-C/Sara Schott). STARCOM answered with Bob Mitchell's 83.15 points atop Triple Trouble (Flying S Bucking Bulls). Space System stayed in the fight with an 87.50 point ride by Thiago Salgado on Bullistic (Blake Sharp/Hanks). Combat Forces struck again with an 88.60 points from Austin Richardson matched with Couyon (Flying S Bucking Bulls). STARCOM answered back with an 85.80 point ride by Alex Cerqueira aboard Hoka Hey (Blake Sharp/Chris Utz/Carey Brothers). Space System did their best to stay in the fight with an impressive 88.55 points by Claudio Montanha Jr. on Stacked Deck (Farris Cattle/Big Schott Rodeo) but unfortunately it was not enough. Out of the three re-ride options only Combat Forces was able to capitalize with their 86.65 points ride by Eduardo Aparecido atop Whiplash (Blake Sharp/CB and Traci Lee/RLC). At the end of the Round One's battle STARCOM dominated with a total of 428.05. Space Forces took second to also advance to the Round Two with 352.70. Space Systems despite their valiant effort finished out the round with 348.05 and was eliminated from the competition.
In Round Two, STARCOM had the only qualified ride with an 88.50 point ride by team captian Lucas Divino on Dirty South (Blake Sharp/Brantley Gilbert) to win the round and event.
Following the show, Tim McGraw got Falcom Stadium rocking with his concert in front of a sold-out crowd.
