Norco Mounted Posse PRCA Rodeo

The Norco Mounted Posse PRCA Rodeo was held August 22-24th at the Ingalls Event Center in Norco, California. All-around cowboy and a check for $4,586 went to Blake Hirdes for entering the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took first in the tie-down roping for his 12.6 second run to take home an additional $1,840 and first in the team roping paired with heeler Jake Edwards for their 5.2 second run for another $2,746. There was a tie for first in the bareback riding between Tilden Hooper on Black Cashmere (Diamond G Rodeo) and Cole Reiner on Cash Carry (Andrews Rodeo) with both cowboy scoring matching 84 point rides to pocket $2,511 each. Tucker Allen took first in the steer wrestling for his 4.9 second run to earn $1,717. There was also a tie for first in the saddle bronc riding between Lefty Holman on American Hats Po (Andrews Rodeo) and Tom Webster on To The Limit (Diamond G Rodeo), with both athletes having 84.5 point rides to net them $2,780 each. Vicky Cook took first in the barrel racing with her 17.08 second run to earn $1,706. Aaron Williams took first in the bull riding for his electric 88 point ride on So Frustrating! (Diamond G Rodeo) for $5,903. Diamond G Rodeo and Andrews Rodeo provided the stock. Jessica Cardon and Sarah Aaberg were the pickup men and Preston Robinson and Kaipo Stevens were the bullfighters.
