Home of the Navajo PRCA Rodeo

With a payout of over $150k, cowboys and cowgirls set their rigs on the road to Window Rock to compete in the Home of the Navajo PRCA rodeo May 31st - June 2nd. Some of the top names in rodeo could be seen from Keenan Hayes to Statler Wright.


Keenan Hayes took first in the bareback with a big 87 point ride on The Cervi Brothers' Moon Dancer. Kyle Callaway took first in the bulldogging with a 4.5 second run. In the team roping Hagen Peterson/Chase Tryan took first with a fast 4.5 second run. Statler Wright got it down the wright way with an electric 90 point ride on The Cervi Brothers' R. Watson's Ed Bishop. There was a tie in the tie-down roping with both Cash Hooper and Zack Jongbloed having 7.7 second runs. In the barrel racing  Halyn Lide took first with a fast 15.68 second run. In the bull riding Brady Turgeon took first with an 85.5 point ride on Empire Rodeo's Hammer Lane. All-around cowboy went to Trevor Hale who competed in the tie-down roping, team roping, and steer roping.


Clay Long took first in the first round of the steer roping with a 9.2 second run. In the second round Jess Tierney took first with his 10.0 second run. Slade Wood took first in the third round with an 9.7 second run. The average went to Logan Currie for 33.7 seconds on three head.




All-Around Cowboy: Trevor Hale, $1,582, tie-down roping, team roping and steer roping.


Bareback Riding:
