Cattlemen Days Rodeo

The Cattlemen Days Rodeo was held August 22-23rd at the Cedar Valley Saddle Club in Ashland, Montana. Clay Clayman took all-around cowboy and $3,008 for entering the steer wrestling and team roping. He also took second in the steer wrestling for his 4.7 second run to bring home another $1,167 and took first in the team roping paired with header Dalton Turner/for their 4.2 second run for an additional $1,840 each. Bucky McAlpine took first in the bareback riding with his 85 point ride on Peach Juice (Three Hills Rodeo) for $1,154. Ben Kilburg took first in the steer wrestling for his 3.9 second run to earn $1,411. Drew Bordelon took first in the saddle bronc riding for his 87.5 points on Bobby Shows (Three Hills Rodeo) for $1,359. Haze Wright took first in the tie-down roping for his 9.8 second run to pocket $1,431. Bailey McClure took first in the barrel racing for her speedy 15.20 second run to net her $1,007. Shyanne Allen took first in the breakaway roping for her fast 2.5 second run to pocket $1,634. Jackson Smith took first in the bull riding for his 82.5 points on Risky Business (Three Hills Rodeo) for $1,408.  Three Hills Rodeo provided the stock. Luke West and David Martin were the pickup men and Ethan Pittman and Cole Stanley kept the bull riders safe.


All-around Cowboy: Clay Clayman, $3,008, steer wrestling and team roping.
