Blue Rose PRCA Charity Rodeo

The Blue Rose PRCA Charity Rodeo was held May 2-3rd in Springfield, Nebraska. Austin Hurlburt was awarded all-around cowboy and a check for $869 for competing in tie-down roping and steer wrestling. He also took second in the tie-down roping for his 12.2 second run to earn another $869. Tristan Hansen took first in the bareback riding with his 80.5 points on Buffalo Springs (Barnes PRCA Rodeo) to earn $1,109. In the steer wrestling, Garrett Stevens took first with his quick 9.2 second run for $1,131. Corben Culley & Trent Vaught took first in the team roping with their 6.0 second run to take home $1,826 each.  Joe Priebe took first in the saddle bronc riding with an 80 points on Crow Bait (Barnes PRCA Rodeo) to win $1,179. Joel Contreras took first in the tie-down roping with his 11.6 second run for $1,050. Nikki Reynolds took first in the barrel racing with her 16.00 second run for $917. There was a tie for first in the bull riding between Jarett Evans, on Big Red (Barnes PRCA Rodeo) and Mason Spain, on Rio's Diablo (Barnes PRCA Rodeo) who both had 81 point rides, which were also the only qualified rides, to take home $1,481 each. Redline Pro Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractor Barnes PRCA Rodeo. The pickup men were  Jeff Rector and Garrett Underwood and Luke Moore and Cauy Spidle were the bull fighters.
