Lakeside Rodeo

The Lakeside Rodeo was held April 24-27th in a Lakeside, California with several big names in the PRCA competing for a chunk of the $130,000+ payout. Thayne Elshere earned himself a check for $4,573 for all-around cowboy by competing in both saddle bronc riding and bull riding. He also took first in the bull riding with a big 87.5 point ride on Bulletin (Western Rodeos) for an additional $5,297. There was a tie for first in the bareback riding between Kashton Ford, on Jericho (Corey & Lange Rodeo) and Sam Petersen, on No Angel (Western Rodeos) who both had 82 point ride to earn $3,487 each. There was also a tie for first in the steer wrestling between Logan Kenline and Justin Shaffer, who both had 4.9 second runs to take home $2,369 each. Brye Crites & Tyler Worley took first in the team roping with their 4.6 second run for $3,615 each. Dawson Hay took first in the saddle bronc riding with his huge 88 point ride on Caballo Diablo (Western Rodeos) to earn a check for $4,343. In the tie-down roping, Riley Pruitt took first with an 8.3 second run for $2,908.  Tricia Aldridge took first in the barrel racing with her 16.94 second run for $2,993. All In Pro Rodeos provided the stock with sub-contractors Western Rodeos, Corey & Lange Rodeo, Salt River Rodeo and Big Stone Rodeo Inc. Del Rude and Joe Butler provided the owboy protection and Josh Reed and Jeremy Clark were the pickup men.
