The Wrangler NFBR kicked off Monday in the historic Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas to a sold out crowd. On opening day, the cowgirls competed in the first five rounds. The second five rounds will be held tonight with a world champion and an average champion crowned.
Hali Williams absolutely dominated, taking first in three rounds. She started off strong with first in the opening round with her 2.1 second run to pocket $6,197. She also took first in the third round with her 1.9 second run for another $6,197 followed by first in the fourth round with her 1.9 second run to net her an additional $6,197. Beau Peterson took first in the second round with her 2.1 second run to earn $6,197. Kinlie Brennise and Josie Conner tied for first in the fifth round with their 2.1 second run to take home $5,662 each. Rylee A George is currently sitting at first in the average for 14.6 seconds on five head.
