The West's Most Western Rodeo kicked off September 5-7th at the West World Arena in Scottsdale, Arizona. Quint Bell took all-around cowboy and a check for $642 for entering the tie-down roping and steer wrestling. He also took sixth in the steer wrestling for his 5.3 run for another $239 and fifth in the tie--down roping for his 11.6 second run for an additional $404. Bronc Marriott took first in the bareback riding for his 84 points on Thin Lizzy (Salt River Rodeo) for $1,235. Cody Cabral took first in the steer wrestling for his quick 3.4 second run to earn $1,383. Michael Calmelat & Tj Brown took first in the team roping with their 4.6 second run to take home $1,723 each. Zachary Dallas took first in the saddle bronc riding for his big 86 point ride on Poco Loco (Salt River Rodeo) for $1,532. Cade Wallis took first in the tie-down roping for his 8.7 second run to pocket $1,302. Kristin Brashears took first in the barrel racing for her 17.40 second run to earn $1,271. Grace Beth Sutton took first in the breakaway roping for her fast 2.1 second run to net her $1,665. Luke Mackey took first in the bull riding for his 87.5 points on Archie Bucker (Salt River Rodeo) for $4,667. Salt River Rodeo provided the stock along with Cooper Andersen and Jace Honey. Tanner Resor and Les Shannon were the pickup men and Cauy Kraut, Ethan Johnson, and Dillon Jensen were the bull fighters.
