Texas Circuit Finals

The Texas Circuit Finals were held October 7-10th at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas. Tyler Waters took all-around cowboy and check for $5,121 for competing in the team roping and steer roping. He also took first in the fourth round of the team roping with heeler Catcher Gasperson for their 4.0 second run to take home another $2,330, third in the second round of the steer roping with his 11.1 seconds run for $1,116, and second in the average for 10.6 on four head for an additional $1,675.


There was a tie for first in the first round of the bareback riding between Bradlee Miller on Red Dawn (Pickett Pro Rodeo Co) and Chad Rutherford on Jackrabbit (Penthouse Pro Rodeo) with both riders scoring matching 83 points to net them $2,055 each. Jacob Lees took first in the second round with 83.5 points on Questionable Nightlocks (Pickett Pro Rodeo Co) for $2,349. There was another tie for first in the third round between Bradlee Miller on Red Bone (Andrews Rodeo), Brayze Schill on Moonshine (Pete Carr Pro Rodeo), and Kade Sonnier on Monkey Wrench (Penthouse Pro Rodeo), with all three cowboys scoring 86 point rides to take home $1,762 each. Bradlee Miller took first again in the fourth round for his big 88 point ride on Cactus Black (Smith Pro Rodeos) for another $2,349 and first in the average for 336.5 points on four head to net him an additional $4,698.


Jacob Daniell took first in the first round of the steer wrestling with his 3.7 second run to earn $2,330. Shayde Etherton took first int he second round for his 3.4 second run to pocket $2,330 and first in the third round for his 3.7 second run for another $2,330. Rowdy Parrott took first in the fourth round for his 3.4 second run for $2,330. First in the average went to Shayde Etherton for 15.7 seconds on four head to earn $4,661.


Colby Lovell & Ty Arnold took first in the first round of the team roping for their 4.5 second run to net them $2,330 each. There was a tie for first in the second round between Clay Tryan &Cutter Pake Thomison and J.C. Yeahquo & Ross Ashford with both teams stopping the clock at 3.7 seconds to take home $2,039 each. J.C. Yeahquo & Ross Ashford took first again in the third round with their 3.8 second run for another $2,330 each. Tyler Waters & Catcher Gasperson took first in the fourth round for their 4.0 second run to pocket $2,330 each. Cody Carter & Blake Bentley took first in the average for 26.4 seconds on four head to bring home $4,661 each.


In the first round of the saddle bronc riding, Cooper Thatcher took first with his 84.5 point ride on Maybach (Penthouse Pro Rodeo) for $2,330. There was a tie for first in the second round between Jacobs Crawley on Heaven Sent (United Pro Rodeo) and Gus Gaillard on Texan (Rafter G Rodeo) with both riders scoring 84 point for $2,039 each. Gus Gaillard took first again in the third round with his 85.5 point ride on Power Star (Pickett Pro Rodeo Co) to take home another $2,330. Chase Brooks took first in the fourth round for his huge 87 points on True Gritt (New Star Pro Rodeo) for $2,330. Gus Gaillard took first also in the average for 337 points on four head for an additional $4,661.


Blane Cox took first in the first round of the tie-down roping for his 8.6 second run to earn $2,330. Kyan Wilhite took first in the second round with his 8.7 second run for $2,330. Marty Yates took first in the third round for his 7.7 second run to net him $2,330. Kincade Henry took first in the fourth round for his 7.9 second run to earn $2,330. First in the average went to Blane Cox for 38.7 seconds on four head to net him $4,661.


In the first round of the barrel racing, Tricia Aldridge took first for her quick 15.86 second run to net her $2,330. Gracen Harman took first in the second round for her 15.68 second run to earn $2,330, first in the third round for her 15.36 second run for another $2,330, and first in the fourth round for her 15.48 second run for an additional $2,330. Jordan Driver took first in the average for 62.83 seconds on four head to pocket $4,661.


Cody Lee took first in the first round of the steer roping for his 12.1 second run to earn $2,233. Slade Wood took first in the second round for his 9.1 second run to net him $2,233. Cody Lee took first in the third round for his 12.2 second run for $2,233. Slade Wood took first in the fourth round for his 9.3 second run to earn $2,233. First in the average went to Seth Schafer for 52.1 seconds on four head to take home $4,465.


Rylie Smith took first in the first round of the breakaway roping with her quick 1.9 second run to pocket $2,330. Britta Strain took first in the second round for her 1.8 second run for $2,330.

There was a tie for first in the third round between Martha Angelone and Kayla Graham, with both cowgirls stopping the clock at 2.2 seconds to net them $2,039 each. In the fourth round, Hannah Phillips took first with her 1.9 second run to earn $2,330. First in the average went to Martha Angelone for 6.6 seconds on three head to take home $4,661.


Bryce Jensen took first in the first round of the bull riding for his big 85.5 point ride on Grand Theft (Lancaster Pro Rodeo Company) for $3,204. Ramon Fiorini took first in the second round for his 86.5 points on Jelly Roll (Rafter G Rodeo) for $3,204. Kristopher Baker took first in the third round for his 85 points on Whistle Pig (Rafter S Rodeo Company) for $2,330. Bryce Jensen took first in the fourth round for his huge 87 point ride on Day Money (Pete Carr Pro Rodeo) for $2,330 and first in the average for 256.5 points on three head for another $4,661.
