Stavely Pro Rodeo

The Stavely Pro Rodeo took place June 12-14th at the Stavely Indoor Arena in Stavely, Alberta. There was a tie for first in the bareback riding between Steven Dewolfe on Grey Matter (Vold Rodeo) and Kody Lamb on Big City (Prime Time Rodeo), with both cowboys scoring 83 point rides to take home $1,223 each. Pacean Deleeuw took first in the steer wrestling with his 3.4 second run to earn $2,870. In the team roping, Brett Buss & Joey Romo II took first with their quick 4.3 second run to take home $2,567 each. There was also a tie for first in the saddle bronc riding between Tanner Butner on Sly Devil (Vold Rodeo) and Tyrel Roberts on Mistress (Vold Rodeo) with both scoring 86.5 point to bring home $1,573 each. Kyle Lucas took first in the tie-down roping with his 8.4 second run to earn $2,365. Taylor Manning took first in the barrel racing with her quick 16.11 second run for $4,615. Bradi Whiteside took first in the breakaway roping with her fast 2.2 second run for $2,327. Holden Atkinson took first in the bull riding with a big 88.5 point ride on Forrest Gump (Outlaw Bucker) to pocket $1,663. Vold Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Northcott-Yule, Outlaw Buckers, and Primetime Rodeo. Stran Schlosser and Tyler Thomson were the pickup men and Chase Keeley, Connor Larrivee, and Owen Perry were the bullfighters.
