Johnson County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo

The Johnson County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo was held June 11-14th at the JCSP Arena in Cleburne, Texas. All-around cowboy went to Cody Little for competing in the tie-down roping and team roping to earn a check for $1,115. He also placed fourth in the tie-down roping with his 11.9 run for another $1,115. Sam Shofner took first in the steer wrestling with his 3.6 second run to earn $1,758. In the team roping, Jake Orman & Caleb Green took first with their 5.1 second run to take home $1,881 each. There was a tie for first in the saddle bronc riding between Chase Brooks on Southpoint Buckl (New Star Pro Rodeo) and Riggin Smith on True Gritt (New Star Pro Rodeo), with both riders scoring 85 points to take home $1,292 each. Riley Istre took first in the tie-down roping with his 9.2 second run to net him $1,832. Abbie Crews took first in the barrel racing with her 16.33 second run to earn a check for $2,085. Summer Williams took first in the breakaway roping with her quick 2.1 second run to earn $4,832. Hudson Bolton had the only qualified ride in the bull riding with his huge 89 point ride on Crime Report (United Pro Rodeo) to take home $4,668. United Pro Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Stockyards ProRodeo, Bobby Joe Hill, Jeff Yates. and New Star Pro Rodeo. The pickup men were Fathead Wright, Aaron Hudson, and Skeete Abbott and Tanner Zarnetski and Kane Livingston kept the bull riders safe.
