Springhill PRCA Rodeo

The Springhill PRCA Rodeo was held at the Springhill Rodeo Arena in Springhill, Louisiana. Randall Walker was awarded all-around cowboy and a check for $1,116 for entering the tie-down roping and team roping. Waylon Bourgeois took first in the bareback riding for his big 86.5 point ride on Minnie Pearl (Generations Pro Rodeo) for $1,889. Shawn Musil took first in the steer wrestling for his 3.8 second run to earn $1,989. Cash Duty & Boogie Ray took first in the team roping for their 4.0 second run to bring home $2,371 each. Shea Fournier took first in the saddle bronc riding for his impressive 89.5 points on Trench Coat Char (Generations Pro Rodeo) for $2,228. There was a tie for first in the tie-down roping between Ike Fontenot and Cash Hooper, with both ropers stopping the clock at 8.6 seconds to net them $2,658 each. Kristin Hanchey took first in the barrel racing for her 15.26 second run to earn $2,015. Kirsten George took first in the breakaway roping for her 1.9 second run to pocket $3,093. The bulls did not want to play nice and there were no qualified rides in the bull riding. Generations Pro Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors McCoy Rodeo, Quincy Kueckelhan, JJ Miller, and Silver Spurs Club. Tell Evans and Skylar Hunnicutt were the pickup men and Brody Smith and Tanner Brantley kept the bull riders safe.
