Poway Rodeo

The Poway Rodeo was held September 26-27th at the Poway Valley Riders Association in Poway, California. All-around cowboy went to Brushton Minton, who took home $1,320 for entering the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took sixth in the tie-down roping for his 9.5 run for another $1,320. Mason Clements took first in the bareback riding for his 87 point for $2,586. Cody Cabral took first in the steer wrestling for his 3.4 second run to earn $2,703.  John Gaona & Steven Gaona took first in the team roping for their 4.6 second run to take home $3,076 each. Kaden Chance Horrocks took first in the saddle bronc riding for his 83.5 point ride on Strange Magic (Salt River Rodeo) for $2,967. Ty Harris took first in the tie-down roping for his 8.3 second run to pocket $2,493. McKenna Coronado took first in the barrel racing for her 17.02 second run to net her $2,352. Kaidyn Holland took first in the breakaway roping for her 2.2 second run to earn $2,527. Brad Moreno took first in the bull riding for his 84 points on Looney Tune (Salt River Rodeo) for $3,294. Salt River Rodeo and Cooper Andersen provided the stock. Cody Resor and Les Shannon were the pickup men and Cody Escobedo and Jerry Jacobs provided the cowboy protection.
