Othello PRCA Rodeo

The Othello PRCA Rodeo was held September 12-13th at the Othello Rodeo Arena in Othello, Washington. Wacey Schalla was awarded all-around cowboy and took home a check for $636 by competing in the bareback riding and bull riding. He also took fifth in the bareback riding for his 79 point ride for another $636. There was a tie for first in the bareback riding between Mason Clements on Can't Wait (Flying 5 Rodeo) and Jacek Frost on Miss Major (Flying 5 Rodeo) with both ridres scoring 85 points to net them $2,406 each. Dalton Massey took first in the steer wrestling for his 4.0 second run to earn $1,963. Riley Minor & Brady Minor took first in the team roping with their 4.4 second run to bring home $2,346 each. Shea Fournier took first in the saddle bronc riding with his big 86 point ride on Six Shooter (Flying 5 Rodeo) for $3,181. Tom Crouse took first in the tie-down roping for his 9.2 second run to pocket $2,313. Summer Kosel took first in the barrel racing for her 17.02 second run to bring home $2,053. Suzanne Williams took first in the breakaway roping for her 2.2 second run to earn $3,027. Gavin Mitchell took first in the bull riding for his 81 points on Wild Cat (Big Bend Rodeo) for $3,462.  Big Bend Rodeo, New West Rodeo Productions, Brent Palmer, and Flying 5 Rodeo provided the stock. Blake West and Caleb McMillan were the pickup men and Miles Barry and Dangerousdan Newman provided the cowboy protection.
