Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo

The Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo was held October 2-4th at the Bonifay Memorial Field in Bonifay, Florida. All-around cowboy went to Marcus Theriot, who earned $4,682 for entering the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took first in the team roping paired with heeler Chase Graves for their 5.6 second run to earn another $2,493 and first in the tie-down roping for his 8.6 seconds run to take home an additional $2,189. Colton Clemens took first in the bareback riding for his big 85 point ride on Nearly Wild (Pickett Pro Rodeo Co) for $2,420. Marc Joiner took first in the steer wrestling for his 4.1 second run to earn $2,378. Shea Fournier took first in the saddle bronc riding for his 85 points on Big Spit (Pickett Pro Rodeo Co) for $2,673. Patti Higdon took first in the barrel racing for her fast 16.51 second run to pocket $2,279. There was a tie for first in the breakaway racing between Jasmin Bakri, Cheree Caudle, and Blythe Odom, with all three ladies clocking 3.2 second run to net them $2,284 each. Clayton Sellars took first in the bull riding for his 85 point ride on Splash (Pickett Pro Rodeo Co) for $3,746. Pickett Pro Rodeo Co and J Bar J provided the stock. Jeremy Willis and Brandon Harris were the pickup men and Ryder Rich and Ethan Pittman were the bullfighters.
