North Dakota Roughrider Cup

The North Dakota Roughrider Cup was held September 19-21st at the Dale Pahlke Arena in Mandan, North Dakota. All-around cowboy went to Wacey Schalla who took home $12,079 for competing in the bareback riding and bull riding. He also tied for second in the bareback riding for his 88.5 point ride to take home another $12,079. Tilden Hooper took first in the bareback riding for his impressive 90 point ride on Ols Tubs Stevie (Macza Pro Rodeo) for $18,119. Gavin Soileau took first in the steer wrestling for his 3.8 second run to earn $9,447. Andrew Ward & Jake Long took first in the team roping with their 4.7 second run to take home $9,798 each. Damian Brennan took first in the saddle bronc riding for his exciting 89.5 points on Shattered Lunati (C5 Rodeo) for $17,935. There was a tie for first in the tie-down roping between Blane Cox and Riley Pruitt, with both ropers clocking 8.1 second runs to net them $9,146 each. Austyn Tobey took first in the barrel racing with her 18.06 second run to pocket $12,938. Cadee Williams took first in the breakaway roping for his 2.0 second run to earn $11,167. Ky Hamilton took first in the bull riding for his big 89 point ride on Sneaky Situation (Dakota Rodeo) for $17,907. Dakota Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Harper & Morgan Rodeo Co, Macza Pro Rodeo, Smith Pro Rodeos, J Bar J, and C5 Rodeo. Ryan Hanna, Denton Good, and Brandon Hatzenbuhler were the pickup men and Richard Ratley and Layton Woodbury provided the cowboy protection.
