Mountain States Circuit Finals

The Mountain States Circuit Finals was held October 24-25th at the MAC Equipment Inc. Arena in Loveland, Colorado. The Cervi Brothers, Summit Pro Rodeo, Rocky Mountain Rodeo, Kirsten Vold Rodeo Company, and Burch Rodeo provided the stock. Sandy Forbes and Colt Hamaker were the pickup men and Zachary Devol and Conner Rowley kept the bull riders safe.


Donny Proffit took first in the first round of the bareback riding with his smooth 84 point ride on Riata Man (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $2,235. Cooper Filipek took first in the second round with his big 86 points on Lakota Park (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $2,235. Roedy Farrell took first in the third round for his big 88 point ride on Game Trail (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $2,235. Donny Proffit took first in the average for 252.5 points on three head to net him another $3,352.


In the first round of the steer wrestling, Payden McIntyre took first with his 4.0 second run to earn $2,235. Kall Mayfield took first in the second round with his 4.7 second run to pocket $2,235. There was a tie for first in the third round between Zach Hamar and Jace Mayfield, with both bulldoggers clocking 4.7 second run to take home $1,955 each. First in the average went to ayden McIntyre for 14.6 seconds on three head to earn him another $3,352 check.


There was also a tie for first in the first round of the team roping between Jay Tittel & Cullen Teller and Garrett Tonozzi & Trey Yates, with both teams stopping the clock at 6.8 seconds to net them $1,955 each. Kellan Johnson & Carson Johnson took first in the second round for their 4.6 second run to bring home $2,235 each. Eric Martin & Ryon Tittel took first in the third round with their 5.0 second run for $2,235 each. Garrett Tonozzi & Trey Yates took first in the average for 17.9 seconds on three head to earn $3,352 each.


Coleman Shallbetter took first in the saddle bronc riding with his 81 point ride on Goodnight Trail (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $2,235. Jake Schlattmann took first in the second round with his big 87 points on Owl Feathers (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $2,235. Walker Rezzonico took first in the third round with his electric 88.5 point ride on Heavy Feathers (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $2,235. Ira Dickinson took first in the average for 251 points on three head to take home $3,352.


Brodey Clemons took first in the first round of the tie-down roping with his 7.6 second run to earn $2,235. There was a tie in the second round for first between Brodey Clemons and Riley Pruitt, with both ropers clocking 7.8 second runs to take home $1,955 each. In the third round, Cole Robinson took first with his 7.6 second run to pocket $2,235. Tate Talkington took first in the average for 24.6 seconds on three head to net him $3,352.


Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi did what she excels at and took first in the first round of the barrel racing with her 15.62 second run to take home a check for $2,253. Loralee Ward took first in the second round with her 15.60 second run to net her $2,253. Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi took first again in the third round with her 15.36 second for an additional $2,253. Karson Berger took first in the average for 47.27 seconds on three head to earn $3,380.


Taya McAdow took first in the first round of the breakaway roping with her 3.4 second run to earn $2,235. Katie Jolly took first in the second round with her 2.1 second run to pocket $2,235. Taya McAdow had the only qualified run in the third run with her 3.1 second run to take home $2,235. First in the average went to Taya McAdow for 10.0 seconds on three head to ner her $3,352.


In the first round of the bull riding, Colton Coffman took first with his 85.5 point ride on Oyster Shot (Burch Rodeo) for $2,235. Garrett Uptain took first in the second round for his 82 points on Tuna (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $2,235. Hayden Welsh took first in the third round of the bull riding with his 84.5 point ride on Twisted Smoke (Summit Pro Rodeo) for $5,586 and first in the average for 246 points on three head for an additional $3,352.
