The Heart O'Texas Fair & Rodeo was held October 11th at the Extraco Coliseum in Waco, Texas. Jacob Lees took first in the bareback riding with a big 87.5 points on Boot Barn's Nigh (Pickett Pro Rodeo Co) for $3,529. Justin Shaffer took first in the steer wrestling with his 3.3 second run to earn $3,067. Nelson Wyatt & Jonathan Torres took first in the team roping with their 3.8 second run to take home $3,339 each. Isaac Diaz took first in the saddle bronc riding with his 85.5 point ride on Dirty Roots (Pete Carr Pro Rodeo) for $3,412. Kyle Lucas took first in the tie-down roping with his 7.5 second run to bring home $3,408. Bryce Jensen was the only rider to successfully cover his bull with his 82 points on No. 214k (Pete Carr Pro Rodeo) for $10,528. Pro Rodeo Co, Pete Carr Pro Rodeo, Lanham Mangold, Bobby Joe Hill, and Remey Parrott provided the stock. Preston Johnson and Jeremy Willis were the pickup men and Bryce Redo and Brody Smith provided the cowboy protection.
