FWSSR Rookie Rally

The Rookie Rally kicked off it's debut this year at the Fort Worth Stock Show January 22nd at the Dickey's Arena. In this event, the top first year PRCA members compete for a shot at the nearly $100,000 in payout. The event winners will also earned a coveted spot in the FWSSR Pro Rodeo Tournament. Daxtyn Feild took first in the bareback riding with his 86.5 point ride on The Patch (Penthouse Pro Rodeo) for $4,000. Colin Fox took first in the steer wrestling with his 4.0 second run to earn $4,092. Lucy Richards took first in the breakaway roping with her 2.7 seconds run to net her $4,700. Thayne Elshere took first in the saddle bronc riding with his 87.5 points on Painted Habitat (Penthouse Pro Rodeo) for $4,275 as well as second in the bull riding with his 80 point ride on Darth Vader (Rafter G Rodeo). Ace Reece took first in the tie-down roping with his 8.7 seconds run to earn $4,092. Jet Toberer & Cody Eguisquiza took first with their 4.8 seconds run to pocket $4,165 each. Jaylan Neatherlin took first in the barrel racing with her 16.65 seconds run to take home $4,000. Braxton Whitesell took first in the bull riding with his 85 points on Jelly Roll (Rafter G Rodeo) for $4,700.
