It all came down to the final round Saturday night at the Dickies Arena with the athletes battling it out to see who would leave Fort Worth with the title of 2026 FWSSR champion. Tilden Hooper took first in the bareback riding with a near perfect 92 point ride on Disco Party (Calgary Stampede) for $20,000. There was a tie in the steer wrestling between Bridger Anderson and Trisyn Kalawaia, with both bulldoggers stopping the clock at 3.8 seconds to pocket $16,000 each. Jill Tanner took first in the breakaway roping with her quick 2.0 seconds run to earn $20,000. There was another tie in the saddle bronc riding between Aussie Darcy Radel on Shady Jacket (J Bar J Rodeo) and Rusty Wright on Dandy Delight (Calgary Stampede) with both riders scoring 91 points to take home $16,000. Kincade Henry took first in the tie-down roping with his 7.5 seconds run to net him $20,000. Corben Culley & Trent Vaught took first in the team roping with their 5.4 second run to bring home $20,000 each. Kassie Mowry took first in the barrel racing with her 16.04 seconds run on Jarvis to earn $20,000. Trey Kimzey took first in

one of only two qualified rides the bull riding with his huge 88.5 point ride on Hermes (Rafter G Rodeo) for $26,000. Payden Bray was awarded the Billy & Pam Minick All-Around Award. This year also marked Bob Tallman's 50th year of commentary at the FWSSR. Although he is not retiring, it was made known that his role which change a bit next season from what it has been in past years. This year the FWSSR paid out $1,386,540.
