The 157th Silver Spurs Rodeo kicked off June 5-6th at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida. All-around cowboy went to Ty Chancey who took home a check for $1,013 by entering the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took second in the tie-down roping for his 8.3 second run to for another $790, and sixth in the team roping paired with header Ty Veon for their 10.8 seconds run for an additional $223.

Win Mardis took first in the steer wrestling with his 4.2 seconds run to earn $1,147. Keven Daniel & Parker Carbajal took first in the team roping with their 4.4 seconds run to bring home $1,295 each. Wyatt Lavergne took first in the saddle bronc riding with his 87.5 point ride on Natalie (Silver Spurs Club) for $940. Randall Carlisle took first in the tie-down roping with his 7.9 seconds run to net him $954. Aldyn Ashton and Ashley Henderson tied for first in the breakaway roping with their 2.7 seconds run to net them $1,445 each. Margo Crowther took first in the barrel racing with her 16.12 seconds run to pocket $910. The only two qualified rides in the bull riding tied for first with Waylon Buquoi on Hair Trigger (Silver Spurs Club) and Rooster McKeeman on Jiminy Cricket (Silver Spurs Club) with both riders scoring 80.5 points to take home $1,222 each.


This year the total payoff was $23,838. Silver Spurs Club provided the stock along with sub-contractors Jason Hanchey, Marty Johns, and Justin Yost. Jake Anuez and Hunter Holley were the pickup men and Riggin Dailey, Jo Johns, and Kangaroo McKettrick provided the cowboy protection.
