Ventura County Fair Rodeo

The Ventura County Fair Rodeo was held August 8-10th at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, California. All-around cowboy went to  John Jones, who earned himself a check for $927 by competing in the tie-down roping and team roping.

Tc Cadwell took first in the first round of the steer wrestling with his 6.2 second run for $397.  James Banister took first in the second round for his 5.7 second run to earn $397 and first in the average for 17.3 seconds on two head to take home an additional $596.

Lane Lowry & Lane Karney took first in the team roping with their 5.0 second run to bring home $1,704 each. Lefty Holman took first in teh saddle bronc riding with his 80 point ride on Cowboy Colada (Rosser Rodeo) for $1,675. J. Cody Jones took first in the tie-down roping for his quick 9.5 second run to earn $1,052. Kelsey Cadwell took first in the breakaway roping for her 2.6 second run to pocket $1,193. Kayla Hurl took first in the barrel racing for her 15.21 second run to take home $822.

Rosser Rodeo and Flying U Rodeo provided the stock. Josh Reed and Bronc Boehnlein were the pickup men and Abraham Ansolabehere and Travis Traub were the pickup men.
