The Dust has Settled & the 2025 Pro Rodeo Canada Champions Have Been Crowned

Saturday concluded the end of the 2025 rodeo season and the 2025 Pro Rodeo Canada Champions were announced. Scott Guenthner beat out his dad for the most round wins at the CFR by sweeping all five rounds to take the title in the steer wrestling. Another CFR vet that left Roger's Palace one again at the top of the leaderboard was Zeke Thurston who earned his sixth saddle bronc riding champion title. Jared Parsonage had one heck of a comeback year after missing last year's CFR due to an injury. He was a man on a mission this season and was able to leave CFR victorious as the champion in the bull riding. Kyle

Lucas was finally able to leave Edmonton victorious as well. After three times being a runner up, he finally left as champion in the tie-down roping. Clint Laye was able to beat out Kody Lamb for the title in the bareback thanks to five strong rounds. Kash Bonnett & Logan Cullen were able to secure their tile of champion in the team roping with three round wins. Jayden Wilson earned her first CFR champion buckle in the barrel racing. Although she did not qualified for CFR in the

barrel racing, Bradi Whiteside was able to compete in the breakaway roping and left with as a champion. In the junior events, the champions were Clay Greenslade in the Novice Saddle Bronc, Quaide Skjonsberg in the Novice Bareback, and Ryder Topolinski in the Junior Steer Riding Champion. Additional winners included Logan Spady for all-around, Kyle Wanchuk for Kenny McLean, Taylor Cherry for Rookie, and Taylor Cherry for Permit.
