Sundre Pro Rodeo

The Sundre Pro Rodeo was held was held June 19-21st at the Sundre Rodeo Grounds in Sundre, Alberta. Kody Lamb took first in the bareback riding with a huge 89 point ride on Welcome Delivery (Calgary Stampede) for $3,212. There was a tie for first in the steer wrestling between Evan Spady and Tim Kemp, with both bulldoggers stopping the clock at 3.9 seconds to net them $3,851 each. Denim Ross & Kavis Drake took first in the team roping with a fast 4.5 seconds run to bring home $3,765 each. Layton Green took first in the saddle bronc riding with an impressive 88 points on Mary Lou (Yule Rodeo) for $3,317. Jason Smith took first in the tie-down roping with a quick 7.8 seconds run to earn $4,188. Blake Molle took first in the barrel racing with her 17.23 seconds run to pocket $4,907. Bradi Whiteside took first in the breakaway roping with her fast 2.1 seconds run for $4,120. And Holden Atkinson took home $3764 for his 84 points on Infocus (Yule Rodeo) for first the bull riding.

Calgary Stampede provided the stock along with subcontractor Yule Rodeo. Jeff Resch, Tyler Kraft and Jason Resch were the pickup men and Connor Larrivee and Chase Keeley provided the cowboy protection.
