The Resistol Rookie Roundup was held March 20-21st at the historic Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. This event not only features the top ten rookies in the PRCA competing in a rodeo, but also has a host of different activities from lectures with top athletes to workshops on social media and helping with finances.

There was a bit of a scary moment in Round Two when Daxtyn Feild's first horse got it's head stuck in the chute gate causing the horse to rear up before falling on it's side. Feild's responded perfectly in the situation and was was able to swing himself over the horse when it stood back up and get his hand out of his rigging. Both the horse and rider were uninjured and Feild's took the re-ride to take fourth with 79 points.
