The bull riders took over the deserts of California at the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour in
Palm Desert, CA. The bulls showed the riders no mercy in Round One with only three able to successfully make it to the 8 second mark. Grayson Cole took first with his 87.60 point ride on Keystone (Culp Bucking Bulls). Kingston Herrero took second with his 85.10 point ride on Living On A Prayer (Leffew Bucking Bulls). The last rider in Round One who was able to cover his bull was Jairo Castellanos with his 83.60 on Lemon Drop (Villalobos / Trijos Brothers Ranch).

In Round Two, the bulls decided to play a little nicer and six riders were able to make qualified rides. Of those six, Grayson Cole rode supreme again with another 87.60 point ride on Up and Up (JD Nix Rodeo Co.). Taking a close second was Braidy Randolph with his 87.40 point ride on Rigorous Vengance (Aaron Williams). Aaron Williams took third with his 85.20 points atop Screaming Polican (NS Cattle Co). Zane Cook took fourth with an 84.70 on Living On A Prayer (Leffew Bucking Bulls). Taking the fifth spot on was Dakota Johnson with his 80.80 point ride on Berzerk (4B Bucking Bulls) and the last man to make a qualified ride was Kingston Herrero with his 80.30 point ride on Sissys Surprise (4B Bucking Bulls).
Unfortunately, the riders were no match for the bulls in the championship round and there were no qualified rides. Grayson Cole took the event win with his an aggregate score of 175.20 points from the previous rounds. Second place went to Braidy Randolph for his aggregate score 87.40 points and third place went to Aaron Williams with an aggregate score of 85.20 points. Moving onto the bovine athletes, King Tut (Less Than 8 Cattle Co.) reigned supreme with his score of 43.90 points followed by Johny Dang (Hawkins Bucking Bulls/ Emmett Cattle Co) who had a score of 43.60 and Smoke Screen (Hawkins Bucking Bulls/ Emmett Cattle Co) with a score of 43.20 points.
