PBR Unleash The Beast in Louisville, Kentucky

Dalton Kasel proved why he continues to be one of the top bull riders in the PBR winning Round 1 of UTB Friday night in Louisville, Kentucky with an strong 89.5 point ride on El Chapo (Lucky Blue Crab/Gene Owen. The win earned Kasel 28 Unleash The Beast points. Dener Barbosa took second with a big 89 point ride on Lights Out (Blake Sharp/Henry Wilson/Hanks) to gain 8 points and move up from No. 19 to No.18. Third went to John Crimber, who scored an 88.5 point ride on his re-ride draw Constant Payne (Flying S/Kasel/Payne) to net him 17 points and retain his spot at No. 4 in the standings. Julio Cesar Marques took fourth with his 87 point ride on Freedom Fighter for 16 points rising from No. 16 to No. 15 in the standings. Tying for fifth was Cody Jesus on Bad Intentions (K-C Bucking Bulls/TCB Ranch), Leonardo Castro on Chute Boss (Lucas Manning Bucking Bulls), and Clay Guiton on WinRocks Headache (Gene Owen Bucking Bulls) who all had 86.5 point rides to earn14 points each.


Friday was also the 10th Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World, an

extension of the PBR Teams. The Nashville Stampede took down the Carolina Cowboys by a whopping 256 to 85.5 points, winning the 2nd Smoky Mountain Showdown thanks to rides by Cody Jesus , Caden Bunch, and Anderson de Oliveira. Jesus had an 86.5 point ride on Bad Intentions (K-C Bucking Bulls/TCB Ranch), Bunch had an 85.25 point ride on Home Slice (K-C Bucking Bulls), and Oliveira had an 84.25 point ride on Down to Fly (FlyingS/Dozier Cattle Co.)


On Saturday night, Dalton Kasel proved again he was a force to be reckoned with going a perfect 3 for 3 to win his second consecutive Unleash The Beast event of 2025. Kasel is quickly closing the gap and now only 88 points behind world No. 1 ranked Brady Fielder. In Round 2, Kasel had a big 89 point ride on Bangarang (Blake Sharp/Henry Wilson) followed by a phenomenal 90.25 point ride on UTZ BesTex Smokestack (Blake Sharp/Chris Utz/Carey Brothers) in the Championship Round. Kasel earned a check for $54,141.67 as well as160 Unleash The Beast

points.

Brady Fielder also covered all three of his bulls for second place. In Round 1, he had an 84.25 point ride on Bull Light (Chestnut Dreams/Davis Rodeo Ranch) and a big 88.25 point ride on Short Fire (Braun/Bucking M/BS Cattle) in Round 2. The Championship Round got off to a bit of a shaky start with Nobody (Snyder Family/Gene Owen Bucking Bulls) stumbling during the ride but Fielder capitalized on the re-ride with a near perfect 90.25 point ride on Mike’s Motive (Blake Sharp/HighVoltage/Wetzel/Knott).

There was a tie for third between Paulo Eduardo Rossetto and Anderson de Oliveira.

Rossetto started Round 1 with an 85 point ride on Prince Charming (Viducic/Julian Cattle) followed by an 86 point ride on Bandito Bug (Blake Sharp/Utz/Carey/Chaney) in Round 2, and then an impressive 89.5 point ride on Eyes On Me (Blake Sharp/Hanks) in the Championship Round, moving him from No. 14 to No. 12 in the standings and earning 64.5 Unleash The Beast points. Oliveira had an 84.25 point ride on Down to Fly (Flying S/Dozier Cattle Co.) in Round 1, an 87.25 point ride on Snap Chatter (Flying S Bucking Bulls/Dozier) in Round 2, and a big 89 point ride on Always Been Crazy (Jane Clark/Gene Owen) in the Championship Round for 66.5 Unleash The Beast points and a jump from No. 18 to No. 14 in the rankings.

Taking fifth place and also going 3 for 3, was Cort McFadden. McFadden started Round 1 with an 85.25 point ride on Noslaw Extrasauce (Flying S Bucking Bulls) followed by an 84.75 point ride on Sonny B (Jane Clark/Gene Owen) in Round 2, and an impressive 90 point ride on Preachers Kid (K-C Bucking Bulls/RD Cattle) in the Championship Round to gain 55 Unleash The Beast points and rise from No. 13 to No.10 in the standings.


The YETI PBR World Champion Bull Man Hater (Jane Clark/Gene Owen) lived up to his name and bucked supreme again, earning his 11th YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event title. Man Hater was awarded a commanding 47 point score in the Championship Round for his buck off of Clay Guiton in 3.88 seconds. Magic Potion (K-C Bucking Bulls/Daniels Cattle Co.) is now within one out of tying Cool Whip (Julian/Staci Addison/D&H/Crooked W) for the all-time buckoff streak of 48 outs. Magic Potion clocked his 47th consecutive buckoff on Saturday night when he sent Alan de Souza tumbling to the dirt in 6.2 seconds in the Championship Round.
