Panola County Cattlemen's ProRodeo

The Panola County Cattlemen's ProRodeo took place May 9-10th in Carthage, Texas. Lane Webb took all around cowboy again for competing in the tie-down roping and the team roping for a $1,554 check. He also placed third in the team roping with heeler Jake South for their 5.0 run to earn $714, and third in the tie-down roping for his 9.8 run for an additional $839.  Kash Martin took first in the bareback riding with his 83.5 points on Skitterpop (Silver Creek Pro Rodeo) for $1,109. Kamry Dymmek took first in the steer wrestling with his 4.6 second run to earn $1,343. Walker Smith & Will Smith took first in the team roping with his 4.7 second run to take home $1,090 each. Sterling Crawley took first in the saddle bronc riding with an 84 points on Juice Jug (Salt River Rodeo) to earn $1,101. There was a tie for first in the tie-down roping between Ace Reese and Kyan Wilhite, who both stopped the clock at 9.6 second to take home a check for $1,171 each. In the barrel racing Julie Plourde took first with her 15.90 second run to earn $1,319.  T Parker took first in the bull riding with his 85 point ride on Cat Wrangler (Silver Creek Pro Rodeo) for $3,152. Universal Pro Rodeos provided the stock along with sub-contractors Salt River Rodeo, and Silver Creek Pro Rodeo.  Justin Pender and Jeremy Mercer were the pickup men and Jake Geiger and Kane Livingston kept the bull riders safe.


All-around Cowboy: Lane Webb, $1,554, tie-down roping and team roping.


Bareback Riding: 1. Kash Martin, 83.5 points on Silver Creek Pro Rodeo's Skitterpop, $1,109; 2. (tie) Andy Gingerich and Connor Griffith, 76, $693 each; 4. Monte the3rd Downare, 72, $277.
