Omak Stampede

The Omak Stampede was held August 7-10th at the Stampede Arena Omak, Washington. Caleb McMillan was awarded all-around cowboy and $2,294 for tie-down roping and steer wrestling. He also took fourth in the steer wrestling for his 4.5 second run for an additional $1,448 and tenth in the tie-down roping for his 10.8 run for another $846. Mason Stuller took first in the bareback riding for his smooth 83.5 point ride on Soldier Woman (Big Bend Rodeo) for $2,752.  Tyler Wade & Wesley Thorp took first in the team roping for their 4.8 second run to bring home $2,996 each. Jake Watson took first in the saddle bronc riding for his 83 point ride on Holly Springs (Flying 5 Rodeo) for $4,145. Tyler Calhoun took first in the tie-down roping for his 7.6 second run to earn $3,596. McKenna Coronado and Chloe Gray tied for first in the barrel racing with both cowgirls stopping the clock at 16.41 seconds to take home $2,815 each. Annie Minor took first in the breakaway roping for her 2.2 seconds run to earn $2,947. Lane Vaughan took first in the bull riding with his 83.5 point ride on Nickel Back (Flying 5 Rodeo) for $5,505. Big Bend Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Bryce Palmer and Flying 5 Rodeo. Charlie Barker and Caleb McMillan were the pickup men and Logan Blasdell and Erick Schwindt provided the cowboy protection.
