Northwest Montana Fair and Rodeo

The Northwest Montana Fair and Rodeo was held August 14-16th at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell, Montana. All-around cowboy went to Jesse Popescul who took home a check for $1,887 by competing in the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took fourth with heeler Rylan Brost for their 5.9 second run for another $1,887. Rocker Steiner took first in the bareback riding for his 87 point ride on Bazinga (The Cervi Brothers) for $ 3,455. Pacean Deleeuw took first in the steer wrestling for his 3.8 second run to earn $2,417. Tee McLeod & Paden Bray took first in the team roping for their 5.2 second to take home $2,916 each. Sage Newman took first in the saddle bronc riding for his big 85.5 point ride on Mood Swingss ( The Cervi Brothers) for $3,807. Haven Meged took first in the tie-down roping for his 8.3 second to earn $3,556. Emma Parr took first in the barrel racing for her 17.12 second run to pocket $2,819. Tahj Wells took first in the bull riding for his 86 points on Stinky Winky (The Cervi Brothers) for $3,289. Cervi Championship Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Rick Whitford and The Cervi Brothers. Jake Welker and Tanner Jones provided the cowboy protection and Randy Britton and Jhett Johnson were the pickup men.
