Laramie Warren with a 5.1 second run for 3rd

The North Texas Fair & Rodeo kick off August 15-17th at the North Texas State Fair Arena in Denton, Texas. This fair and rodeo has not just a PRCA rodeo, but also a ranch rodeo, bull team event, and a Mexican rodeo.


All-around cowboy went to Jacob Walters, who earned $559 by competing in the tie-down roping and team roping. He also took fourth in the tie-down roping for his 8.5 second run for an additional $559. Chad Rutherford took first in the bareback riding for his 83 point ride on Rylee's Rasin Ca (Andrews Rodeo) for $884. Skyler Woolls took first in the steer wrestling for his quick 4.6 second run to earn $940. Cody Carter & Blake Bentley took first in the team roping for their 5.4 second run to take home $1,153 each. Cooper Thatcher took first in the saddle bronc riding for his 86 points on Vegas Dough (Andrews Rodeo) for $1,008. Brodey Clemons took first in the tie-down roping for his 8.1 second run to net him $1,159. Jimmie Smith took first in the barrel racing for her 17.03 second run to earn $1,055. Jaci Hammons took first in the breakaway roping for her 2.3 second run to bring home $1,600. There were no qualified rides in the bull riding. Andrews Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Diamond G Rodeo and Penthouse Pro Rodeo. James Rogers and Tj Bohlender were the pickup men and Brody Smith and Ryan Fizer provided the cowboy protection.
