Missoula Stampede

The Missoula Stampede was held August 7-9th at the Western Montana Fair Arena in Missoula, Montana. Nathan Ruth was awarded all-around cowboy to pocket $1,057 for competing in the tie-down roping and team roping. He also tied for eighth in the tie-down roping for his 12.0 secon run for another $1,057.  Jess Pope took first in the bareback with his big 86 point ride on Honcho (The Cervi Brothers) for $5,464. Levi Rudd took first in the steer wrestling for his 4.7 second run to earn $2,659. Riley Minor & Brady Minor took first in teh team roping for their 4.7 second run to take home $2,745 each.  Traylin Martin took first in the saddle bronc riding with his 84 point ride on Redial (Cervi Championship Rodeo) for $5,668. Andrew Burks took first in the tie-down roping for his 9.0 second run to pocket $2,765. Yvette Vega took first in the barrel racing for her 17.76 second run to earn $2,734. Joey Williams took first in the breakaway roping for her 2.3 second run to net her $3,751. Gavin Knutson took first in the bull riding for his smooth 85 points on Banditos Rope (All In Pro Rodeos) for $5,844. The Cervi Brothers provided the stock along with sub-contractors Cervi Championship Rodeo, Bailey Pro Rodeo, All In Pro Rodeos, and Rick Whitford. Jake Welker and Tanner Jones provided the cowboy protection and Randy Britton and Jhett Johnson were the pickup men.
