Linn County Fair & Rodeo

The Linn County Fair & Rodeo was held August 8-9th at the Linn County Fair & Rodeo in Mound City, Kansas. Billy Brunson took all-around cowboy and $337 by entering the tie-down roping and team roping. Colt Eck took first in the bareback riding for his impressive 88 point ride on Tuffy (New Frontier Rodeo) for $1,053. Kamry Dymmek took first in the steer wrestling for his 4.3 second run to earn $959. Joey Denney & Luke Denney took first in the team roping for their 5.0 second run to bring home $1,397 each. Trent Burd took first in the saddle bronc riding with his perfect 90 point ride on Good Kinda Crazy (New Frontier Rodeo) for $1,024. Blake Ash took first in the tie-down roping for his 8.5 second run to net him $1,295. Ivy Hurst took first in the barrel racing for her speedy 17.24 second run to earn $705. Jackie White took first in the breakaway roping with her quick 3.2 second run to net her $1,445. Only Jr Stratford was able to cover his bull with his incredible 94 point ride on Jim Dandy (New Frontier Rodeo) for $3,320. New Frontier Rodeo provided the stock. Andy Eck and Dusty Moore were the pickup men and Wade Kunze and Buddy Brittain provided the cowboy protection.
