Lawton Rangers Rodeo

The Lawton Rangers Rodeo was held August 6-9th at the LO Ranch Arena in Lawton, Oklahoma. All-around cowboy went to Wacey Schalla who competed in the bareback riding and bull riding to take home a check for $7,989. He also took first in the bareback riding for his 88 points on Camisole (Beutler & Son Rodeo) for another $3,983. Jaxson Tucker & Billie Jack Saebens tok first in teh team roping for their 4.4 second run to take home $3,895 each. Weston Patterson took first in the saddle bronc riding for his impressive 88.5 point ride on Foul Motion (Beutler & Son Rodeo) for $4,399. Shad Mayfield took first in the tie-down roping for his quick 7.7 second run to net him $4,714. Emily Beisel took first in the barrel racing for her 17.09 second run to pocket $3,373. Taylor Munsell took first in the breakaway roping for her 2.3 second run to earn $3,299.

Newt Bush took first in the first round of the steer wrestling for his 4.1 second run to earn $1,620. Tanner Brunner took first in the second round for his 3.8 second run for $1,620. Emmett Edler took first in the average for 10.3 seconds on two head to bring home $2,430.

Beutler & Son Rodeo.and Powder River Rodeo provided the stock. Alex Phelps and Wacey Munsell provided the cowboy protection and Fathead Wright and Matt Scott were the pickup men.
