The Inter-State Rodeo was held August 13-14th at the Inter-State Rodeo Arena in Coffeyville, Kansas. All-around cowboy went to Toby Deudney, who earned himself $610 by competing in the bareback riding and bull riding. He also tied for second in the bareback riding with Colt Eck and Quintonn Lunsford, with all three riders scoring 73 points to take home another $610. Owen Brouillette took first in the bareback riding with his 82 point ride on Little Beaver (New Frontier Rodeo) for $1,098. Hoyt Kraeger took first in the steer wrestling for his 3.6 second run to earn $1,472. Jaxon Hill & Jessen James took first in the team roping with their 4.8 second run to take home $1,654 each. There was a tie for first in the saddle bronc riding between John Allen on Butterscotch Twi (New Frontier Rodeo) and Joe Macqueen on Dakota Smoke (New Frontier Rodeo) with both cowboys scoring 85.5 point rides for $1,358 each. Ethan Hill took first in the tie-down roping for his 8.0 second run to earn $2,049. Ivy Saebens took first in the barrel racing with her 17.37 second run to pocket $1,117. Riley O'Rourke also took first in the average for 21.5 seconds on two head to take home an additional $1,418. Alli Masters took first in the breakaway roping for her 2.3 second run to net her $1,894. Tate Pollmeier took first in the bull riding for his incredible 91 point ride on Warning Sign (New Frontier Rodeo) for $4,766.
Riley O'Rourke took first in the first round of the steer roping with his 11.0 second run to net him $945. Taylor Santos took first in the second round for his 9.8 second run to earn $945.
New Frontier Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractor Salt River Rodeo. Andy Eck and Dusty Moore were the pickup men and Dakota Knight and Wade Kunze kept the bull riders safe.
