Heritage Rodeo

The Heritage Rodeo was held May 30-31st in Kanab, Utah at the Kaneplex. All-around cowboy went to James Cabral along with a check for $1,415 for competing in the steer wrestling and team roping. He also tied for second in the steer wrestling with Cameron Haumea with both bulldoggers stopping the clock at 4.3 second to earn $1,415 each. Mason Yancy took first in the bareback riding with an 80 points on No $ No Pockets (Honeycutt Rodeo) for $1,588. Justin Rockhill took first in the steer wrestling with his 4.1 second run to pocket $1,908. There was a tie for first in the team roping between Jade Anderson & Zackery Lewis, Devon McDaniel & Chris Young, and Aaron Tsinigine & Whip Peterson, with all teams stopping the clock at 4.5 seconds to take home $1,946 each. Josh Davison took first in the saddle bronc riding with an 81 points on Fake News (Big Bucks Rodeo) for $1,740. Roan Hudson took first in the tie-down roping with his 8.7 second run to earn $2,000. There was a tie for first in the barrel racing between LaTricia Duke and Sabrina Ketcham with both ladies stopping the clock at 17.56 seconds to take home $1,855 each. Luke Mast took first in the bull riding with an 85.5 point ride on Hay Maker (Honeycutt Rodeo) to earn $1,849. Honeycutt Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Big Bucks Rodeo, Jace Honey, Cooper Andersen, and All In Pro Rodeos. Seth Chase and Tanner Resor were the pickup men and Westlee Jones and Roper Rich provided the cowboy protection.
