The Gold Country Pro Rodeo was held April 11-13th in beautiful Auburn, California. Seth Hall was awarded all-around cowboy and a check for $1,215 for competing in the tie-down roping and team roping. He took fifth in the tie-down roping with his 9.4 second run to earn $1,215. Evan Betony Betony took first in the bareback riding with an 84 points on Little Lady (Flying U Rodeo) for $1,923. In the steer wrestling, Stan Branco took first with a 4.0 second run to take home $2,097. Blake Teixeira & Logan Anseth took first in the team roping with their 5.0 second run to take home $2,482 each. Cash Wilso took first in the saddle bronc riding with an 84.5 points on Hitchhiker (Rosser Rodeo) for $2,042. Colton Farquer took first in the tie-down roping with an 8.7 second run to win $2,540. And in the bull riding, Levi Gray took first with a big 85.5 point ride for $2,256. Flying U Rodeo provided the stock with sub-contractor Rosser Rodeo. Jeremy Clark and Shannon Riggs were the pickup men and Warren Enz and Ray Ray Taylor kept the bull rider's safe.
