Fallon County Fair & Rodeo

The Fallon County Fair & Rodeo was held August 14-16th at the Fallon Co Rodeo Arena in Baker, Montana. Ty Fischer was awarded all-around cowboy and $4,310 for entering the tie-down roping, steer wrestling, and team roping. He tied for seventh in the team roping paired with heeler Corbin Fisher for their 5.6 second run to take home another $1,537, and tied for fourth in the tie-down roping for his 10.1 second run for an additional $2,773. Kade Berry took first inteh bareback riding for his exciting 87.5 point ride on Pretty Woman (C5 Rodeo) for $4,230. There was a tie for first in the steer wrestling between Newt Novich and Tegun Spring, with both bulldoggers stopping the clock at 3.8 seconds to bring home $2,933 each. There was also a tie for first in the team roping between Jon Peterson & Arye Espenscheid and Aaron Tsinigine & Sid Sporer, with both teams having 5.0 second run to net them $3,783 each. Logan Hay took first in the saddle bronc riding with a beatiful 90.5 point ride on the crowd favorite Virgil (C5 Rodeo) for $7,924. Pecos Tatum took first in the tie-down roping with his 9.1 second run to earn $4,714. Emma Parr took first in the barrel racing for her 15.77 second run to pocket $3,974. Luke Mackey took first in the bull riding for his 84 points on Superstition (C5 Rodeo) for $4,386.

Sarah Verhelst took first in the first round of the breakaway roping for her 2.6 second run to earn $1,838. Molly Salmond took first in the semi-finals for her 2.2 second run to take home $1,838 and first in the average for 5.3 seconds on two head for an additional $2,757.

C5 Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Muddy Creek Pro Rodeo, Five Star Rodeo, and Burch Rodeo. Ryan Hanna, Brandon Hatzenbuhler, Cody Williams, and Andy Bolich were the pickup men and Sylvan La Cross and Kaleb Barrett kept the bull riders safe.
