Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede

The Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede was held August 9-10th at the Dawson Creek Exhibition in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Samuel Peterson took first in the bareback riding for his 86 point ride on Country Dancer (Duane Kesler Championship Rodeo) for $3,027. Pacean Deleeuw took first in the steer wrestling with his 3.7 second run to earn $2,915. There was a tie for first in the team roping between Brody Groves & Cody Tew and Levi Simpson & Kasper Roy with both teams stopping the clock at 6.1 seconds to bring home $2,501 each. Logan Hay took first in the saddle bronc riding with a huge 88 point ride on Boss Feeds Double D Dolly (Duane Kesler Championship Rodeo) for $3,132. Steele DePaoli took first in the tie-down roping with his 8.5 second run to net him $2,953. Pamela Morrison took first in the barrel racing for her 16.71 second run to earn $3,027. Tatum Wilson took first in the breakaway roping for her quick 2.6 second run to take home $1,811. Auzyn Corr took first in the bull riding for his impressive 88 point ride on Jack The Ripper (Duane Kesler Championship Rodeo) for $3,383. Duane Kesler Championship Rodeo provided the stock. Jason Resch and Darcy McKinney were the pickup men and Chase Keely and Connor Larrivee were the bullfighters.
