Daines Ranch Pro Rodeo

The Daines Ranch Pro Rodeo was held June 11-13th in Innisfail, Alberta at the Daines Ranch arena. Orin Larsen took first in the bareback riding with his 86.5 points on She-La (C5 Rodeo) for $1,874. Landon Beardsworth and Quentin Branden tied for first in the steer wrestling with both bulldoggers clocking 4.2 seconds run to net them $2,424 each. Kavis Drake & Denim Ross took first in the team roping with their 4.7 seconds run to take home $2,635 each. Tyrel Roberts took first in the saddle bronc riding with his 87.5 points on Trump Card (C5 Rodeo) for $3,184. Ben Robinson took first in the tie-down roping with his 8.6 seconds run to net him $2,678. Julie Leggett was fastest around the cans with her 15.55 seconds run to pocket $4,728. There was a tie for first in the breakaway roping between Danielle Wray, Lawrie Neal, and Bradi Whiteside, with all three ladies stopping the clock at 2.0 seconds to take home $2,130 each. Grady Young took first in the bull riding with his 88 points on Wolf Bait (Vold Rodeo) for $2,698.

The total payout this year was $125,920.40. C5 Rodeo provided the stock. Jeff Resch, Tyson Cardinal, and Colin McNiven were the pickup men and Owen Perry and Ethan Barrows provided the cowboy protection.
