The Council Bluffs PRCA Rodeo was held March 21-22nd in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Clay Clayman was awarded all-around cowboy for competing in steer wrestling and team roping for a $1,193 check. He took first in the team roping with header Cody Reed with their 4.4 second run for $1,193 each. There was a tie for first in the steer wrestling between Ben Kilburg and Garrett Stevens who both had 4.1 second run for $757 each. Cauy Masters took first in the saddle bronc riding with an 80 point ride on Smokin' Hot (Big Bucks Rodeo) for $1,225. Tom Crouse took first in the tie-down roping with an 8.8 second run for $921. Alyssa Gabrielson was quickest around the barrels for first with her 13.56 second run to earn $787. There were only four qualified rides in the bull riding. Jesse Hopper took first in with his 80.5 point ride on Blackberry Smoke (Big Bucks Rodeo) for $1,184. Stock was provided by Big Bucks Rodeo and Jim Hystad. Lelo Garcia and Garrett Wilkinson kept the bull riders safe and Cash Smith and Cache Burnside were the pickup men.
