The Caldwell Night Rodeo was held August 12-16th at the D&B Arena in Caldwell, Idaho. This was a another big one for those in the dash for the Wrangler NFR cash and drew lots of top PRCA talent.

There was a tie for first in the first round of the bareback riding between Cooper Cooke on Mentally Chill (Northcott and Yule Rodeo) and Mason Yancy on Wild Child (Burch Rodeo) with both riders scoring 87 points to take home $3,821 each. There was also a tie in the finals between Roedy Farrell on Blue Blood (Powder River Rodeo) and Andy Gingerich on Shade Tree (Powder River Rodeo) with both soring 85 points to earn $1,450 each. Mason Yancy took first in the average for 171.5 points on two head to net him another $4,326.

Denell Henderson took first in the first round of
the steer wrestling with his 3.9 second run to earn $4,160. Ty Erickson took first in the finals for his 4.0 second run to pocket $1,334. First in the average went to Holden Myers for 8.1 seconds on two head to net him $6,240.

In the first round of the team roping, Luke Brown & Trey Yates took first with their 3.9 second run to bring home $4,071 each. Kaleb Driggers & Junior Nogueira took first in the finals for their 4.2 second run to earn $1,117 each. Dawson Graham & Dillon Graham took first in the average for 8.8 seconds on two head for $6,107 each.
Ross Griffin took first in the first round for his impressive 88 point ride on Ols Tubs Magic Carpet (Outlawbuckers Rodeo) for $4,270. Q Taylor took first in the finals for his smooth 86.5 points on Glacier 45 (Powder River Rodeo) to net him $1,650. First in the average went to Ross Griffin for 173.5 points on two head to take home another $4,270.
Tyson Durfey took first in the first found of the tie-down roping for his 8.1 second run to pocket $4,515. Preston Pederson took first in the finals for his quick 8.8 second run to earn $1,305. There was a tie for first in the average between Hayden Ford and Shad Mayfield, with both ropers having 17.6 seconds on two head to bring home $6,331 each.
Anita Ellis was fastest around the vans in the first round with her speedy 16.83 second run to earn $4,507. Katelyn Scott took first in the finals with her quick 16.76 second run to take home $2,003 and first in the average for 33.83 seconds on two head for an additional $4,507.

Jackie Crawford did what she does best and took first in the first round of the breakaway roping with her 2.2 second run to pocket $3,352. Beau Peterson took first in the finals for her 2.6 second run to net her $1,350 and first in the average for 5.2 seconds on two head for another $5,028.
Trevor Reiste took first in the bull riding with an absolutely incredible 92.5 point ride on Peanut (Powder River Rodeo) for $11,294.
Powder River Rodeo provided the stock along with sub-contractors Western Rodeos, Outlawbuckers Rodeo, Remey Parrott, Casey Adams, Dan Mundorf, Calgary Stampede, Rocky Mountain Rodeo, Northcott and Yule Rodeo, and Burch Rodeo. Jay Shaw and Clint Humble were the pickup men and Noah Krepps and Gidley Gidley provided the cowboy protection.
